This is a work in progress. Together we will learn and improve the plan. The basic requirements are simple but require a little investment of time and money from you. Your first step will be to set up a company membership and try a variety of products for yourself. These will be things you use every day, only much, much better, and for a variety of very good reasons that you will discover. Then once you see for yourself this is a better way to help your family become healthier and happier, and your home cleaner and greener, you can order what you want to be routinely delivered to your door. You will be simply switching brands, redirecting dollars you're already spending on products that can be dangerous to your family and harmful to the environment, to products that benefit you, your family and the planet. What could be easier than that? If we all do this, one family at a time, we can make a difference. All great successes begin with the first small step.
As you start this process, remember this cute little story about some very special crabs you may encounter along the way.
A retired couple from the Outer Banks decided to vacation in the Bahamas, just for a change from the winter weather. They were enjoying their condo in Marsh Harbor and being ardent seafood lovers, especially crabs, they ventured out to the local market one day to find some to steam for their dinner.
Looking over the offerings they noticed all the baskets of very active live crabs had covers to keep them from escaping, save one.
That basket was full to the brim, but despite all the crabs were crawling over each other very actively, none was escaping the basket. They asked the vendor why it was that basket of crabs needed no cover to prevent escapes. He smiled "Oh, they are very special crabs, we call them 'Buddy Crabs'." Puzzled, the couple asked him to explain. "You see" he replied, "when one of them tries to crawl out, his buddies grab him and pull him back in."
Earlier, we talked about making changes in our lives and how it was sometimes necessary, sometimes a little uncomfortable at first, but part of the process to achieve the results we want from life. As you learn, change and become successful, some of your family, friends and acquaintances may become uncomfortable, even envious, and their natural reaction will be to try and pull you back into the basket. Remember this story and be prepared because you can just as easily help them escape the basket so all of you can grow together.
